‘The Elusive’ is a music video that I directed in november of 2006 for a band called ‘the flight out’. There are layers and layers of meaning that i would have to point out, but the overall concept was my random subconscious. I listened to the song on repeat for over a week straight while barely sleeping and during that time came up with a lot of the random imagery. One interesting tidbit, the type projected everywhere are words from the lyrics re-arranged to mean different things. I did intend for it to be square resolution and you will notice flashes of the perfect white square located within the color bars. I'm sure you'll also notice that lamp that I love and the sudden change of style when Burlon turns on the light. I did basically everything myself in about a week and a half. Overall i’m very happy with it, but only wish i had better equipment (perhaps an HD cam) and spent more time getting good close-ups.
