Part of an early design and concept I made for the Iron Man main title. ILM was cool enough to give us a model of the Iron Man suit, so the first day we got it I started ripping it apart and I used the parts to rebuild this type. I wanted to show the raw complex interior to represent Tony Stark's life. The clean outer shell then covers it up, similar to how Tony Stark hides behind not only his Iron Man suit, but also his public playboy persona.
